Current art activities: tidying my bedroom. This is necessary to the art process, because otherwise I don't have any fucking place to work. It's a big job; a huge mess; something I'm finding quite fun, actually. The plan is to get everything organised properly, once and for all. It may take some time.
Art on the computer: haven't worked on anything today. There's thousands (or maybe only hundreds) of pictures "in progress" on the hard drive. On the computer I work primarily in Paint, and gimp. Windows Photo Gallery is sometimes useful too.
Art around me: yesterday... Actually it was on Tuesday night. On Tuesday night there was a program on ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corp, that is) about an Oz artist - Lisa Roet - who focuses on primates. It was very interesting and inspiring. There were charcoals, and these magnificent cast bronze sculptures of chimps and things.
Also my sister (who is also an artist) and I are planning on attending an exhibition at the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery some time. The exhibition is called... er I forget... There's a pamphlet for it around somewhere... We won't be attending the actual opening (which might already have passed, come to think of it), because there tends to be less chance at openings to get a really good look at stuff.
